The Department is responsible for analysis and research, focused on risks and dangers caused by natural disasters, epidemics and man-made catastrophes and assistance in dealing with crises caused by these risks and dangers, through preparation of strategies and action plans. The Department also helps with development of standard operating procedures and plans for prevention activities.
