Presentation of the NICS Tool within the NATO Emergency Management Exercise Bulgaria 2025, in the presence of a senior representative from the NATO Alliance

In the presence of the senior representative from the NATO Alliance, Mr. Piers Cazalet, we are pleased to present the NICS (NATO Incident Command System) tool, which we use within our NATO emergency management exercises. This tool is a key element in our efforts to improve coordination and efficiency in crisis management.
NICS represents an integrated system that enables fast and accurate information exchange among all relevant participants in exercises and real operations. It offers functionalities for incident tracking, resource coordination, task management, and real-time communication, significantly facilitating operational activities.
Members of the ICM (Incident Coordination Module) actively use this tool to provide comprehensive support to operational teams, reducing response times and increasing the success rate in handling emergency situations.
We believe that the application of NICS in exercises like this not only strengthens our operational readiness but also enhances integration and cooperation among NATO member countries.
