On June 5, 2026, in Saraj, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia organized and successfully conducted the “Summer Camp of the Red Cross Operational Forces – Saraj 2026.” This high-profile event was fully dedicated to enhancing preparedness, skills, and capacities for action in emergency and crisis situations.
As a key partner in building safety and resilience, the Institute for Crisis Management took an active part in the exercise, working hand-in-hand with key institutions of the crisis management system and Red Cross volunteers.
Key Aspects and Activities of the Camp:
- Real-time Simulations and Exercises: Members of the operational forces from all over the country underwent intensive scenario-based training to ensure rapid and effective responses to emergencies.
- Teamwork and Coordination: On-the-field experience sharing aimed at optimizing synchronization between various rescue and support teams.
- Interdisciplinary Approach: Collaborative efforts uniting the non-governmental sector, professional institutions, and state authorities within the framework of the national crisis management system.
