Department of Advocacy for Youth and Women’s Rights

The Department of Advocacy for Youth and Women’s Rights is a dynamic initiative dedicated to promoting gender equality, empowering young people, and advancing women’s rights globally. It focuses on addressing critical issues such as sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), gender-based violence, leadership development, and policy advocacy. By adopting an intersectional and intergenerational approach, the department collaborates with youth-led organizations, civil society groups, and policymakers to create sustainable change.

Key activities include amplifying the voices of young women and non-binary individuals, fostering leadership through capacity-building programs like the Learn, Earn, Lead, and Transform (LELT) model, and engaging in global advocacy campaigns. The department also emphasizes meaningful youth participation by equipping young leaders with the tools to influence decision-making processes at local, national, and international levels. Initiatives such as gender pay gap town halls, workshops on SRHR, and advocacy toolkits are central to its work.
