The Institute for Crisis Management – ICM Skopje actively participated in the international exercise of NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (NATO EADRCC), which was held in the Republic of Bulgaria in 2025.
The exercise is part of NATO’s ongoing efforts to strengthen response capacities to natural and man-made disasters, as well as to enhance cooperation among member countries and Alliance partners.
As part of this exercise, ICM Skopje was represented by a team of experts in the fields of crisis management, civil protection, logistics, and emergency coordination. The team took part in simulation scenarios involving coordination in the context of earthquakes, floods, chemical incidents, and mass evacuation, contributing their knowledge and experience to the achievement of the exercise’s objectives.
Through this participation, the Institute reaffirmed its commitment to international cooperation, interoperability, and the development of joint crisis response capacities. At the same time, the exercise provided an opportunity for the exchange of best practices and the strengthening of partnerships with institutions from Europe and beyond.
ICM Skopje will continue to invest in the development of national and international disaster management capacities, aiming to build a more resilient society and a safer future for all citizens.
